Snail, and Some Words.

Sitting here eating macaroni and cheese. I've been liking that lately and so, I roll with it. My favorite foods are bananas, avocados, juices, yogurt, and the Complete Cookie. Mushroom risotto is one of my favorites too. :) I also like PB&J and Pop Tarts. Honestly, I'm like a child when it comes to food. I eat to live. Others live to eat I guess. I've never even used my oven. I don't care about decorating, furniture, or possessions either. Just not on my radar.

Just sharing something from my life. I had a longass day. I'm exhausted, and it was challenging, but I did the best I could, which is usually over the top, since I tend to be hard on myself.

You know, when I was little, I spent a lot of time alone. I still do, and I'm quite introverted. I suppose I have a lot of acquaintances, but as for closeness, I have a small circle, but the ones I do interact with...I'm honest, open, and super healthy in my relationships with them, and they are those that I love and can trust. That's something that makes me smile, and I'm proud of that.

I'm also proud of trooping through some of the toughest years of my life. I swear, I look ten years older than I did two years ago...there's a reason for that. I'm tired, and I'm in physical pain a lot, and I have some bad days, and I have some free days, but I'm here.

You know, my story is an amazing one. When I think back to certain events, I can't even believe I'm thinking about myself. I've written my story, and at some point, I hope to get it out there to help people. It's truly unique. But I also wrote another book, and I'm working on getting that one published first. We shall see.

On the internet, in my nonfiction writings, and in person, I'm quite open. There really is no filter. Scares some people I suppose, I don't know. Just who I've grown into I guess. :) Of course, I know how to stick to my side of the street when it comes to nonfiction, and I always write with integrity. I change names or omit things to protect others' privacy. Years of journalism, and my desire to share my truth, taught me the importance of that. Also, it's just a part of who I am.

Wonder what's next? Although I haven't dated anyone in like 12 years, I'd like to get married, ha. Just jump straight to it, no practice. Sounds fun, though. I'd give it a shot. I'm leaning toward yes.

I realize I'm ridiculous, but I've had a dream about it for years, and I've never given up.
