Hoping

Good morning! Taking one minute at a time. Sometimes, I have to make the day "smaller;" that is, break it down into small goals. That's where I am right now! Deep, powerful stuff but hard, nonetheless; that is, I ask myself, "What do I need to take care of right now?" Change the thinking, dial it down, and such. Do what I can, do the best I can, and then let go. It's a lesson in trust, changing behavior, letting go of the idea of control, letting go of old thinking, and allowing feelings to settle...and then some. And a tighter, more personal relationship with God. Best I can describe it at the moment. Tired, afraid, but also feeling more love and compassion entering my life...hanging on for the ride here, building strength one minute at a time. Hard to change the self when it involves aspects that have been a part of one's makeup for a lifetime. Hard, but big stuff! And so, I say to myself...do what I can, try to take it easy, and the rest will unfold. Huge lessons in letting go.
