Hollins and Fiction

Here's a shot of the original English Department at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia; I attended this magnificent school, and I am eternally grateful for the experience. B.A., 1996. M.A., 1998. English and Creative Writing. Minor in Film. For more info on Hollins' amazing writing program and other details, go here.

Also, do you want to check out some slick, fast-paced fiction? Right on! Just see the label on this blog called "Fiction:  Stories and Scenes" right here. I've posted some of my work as a sample, and I hope you enjoy it. It's all polished work, and it's carefully crafted from my tricky brain. I work hard at creating work that's both literary and skillfully attention-grabbing. If it's been published before, I give credit to the original publisher. The rest is fresh on here...just me fucking around (and then tirelessly editing until my heart tells me this:  yeah, that's it, you got it, rock star. Let it sit. This is a winner).

Thank you so much. Good morning, by the way! Just saying hello and trooping along. Hope you find lots of love today. Life is too short to settle for less, and you know what? There's plenty to go around.

Reach out,
C.A. MacConnell
